The WEATHERIZATION WORK clause defines the requirements and standards for performing improvements that enhance a building's energy efficiency, such as insulation, sealing, and weather-stripping. WEATHERIZATION WORK. The Contractor agrees to provide specialty contracting services associated with weatherization work.
WEATHERIZATION WORK. The Contractor agrees to provide the following services, as requested, for individual projects:
a. Insulating attics, walls, sub-floor areas, heating ducts and water pipes.
b. Air-sealing building shells.
c. Sealing air handling systems (supply and return ducts and boots).
d. Performing combustion safety analyses.
e. Making minor repairs to protect the weatherization measures installed.
f. Installing windows and doors.
g. Installing bathroom and kitchen fans.
h. Installing ventilation systems or dehumidifiers.
i. Any other activity requested by UCAN.
