Common use of Warning Process Clause in Contracts

Warning Process. Misconduct other than serious misconduct (i) The employee will be given an opportunity to explain his/her actions or inactions. The employee will be advised that he/she may have a representative present at all stages of the following procedure and may respond in writing, in a timely manner, to any matter raised. (ii) First Warning – the first warning may be either a written or oral warning by a delegated representative of the Company. The warning is to be noted on the employee’s personal file and a copy given to the employee.
