WAREHOUSE RECEIPT Sample Clauses

A Warehouse Receipt clause establishes the terms under which a warehouse issues a receipt for goods stored on behalf of a depositor. This clause typically outlines the responsibilities of the warehouse operator, the description and condition of the goods, and the rights of the receipt holder, such as the ability to transfer ownership or claim the goods. By formalizing the documentation and transferability of stored goods, the clause ensures clear evidence of title and facilitates secure transactions involving warehoused property.
