War and Terrorism Risks Sample Clauses

The War and Terrorism Risks clause defines how losses or damages resulting from acts of war or terrorism are treated under an agreement, typically an insurance policy. This clause usually excludes coverage for events such as armed conflict, invasions, civil war, or terrorist attacks, meaning the insurer is not liable for claims arising from these causes. Its core function is to allocate risk by clearly stating that the insurer will not cover losses related to war or terrorism, thereby protecting the insurer from unpredictable and potentially catastrophic liabilities.
