A Walk Policy clause defines the conditions under which a party, typically a client or customer, may cancel or terminate a reservation or agreement without penalty, often due to the unavailability of the promised service or product. In practice, this clause is commonly found in hotel or event contracts, where if the provider cannot fulfill a confirmed booking, the client is allowed to 'walk'—that is, leave and seek alternative arrangements, sometimes with compensation or assistance from the provider. Walk Policy. If Hotel is unable to honor a reservation, Hotel agrees to find a comparable or better room at an alternate hotel for the dates of the reservation and to be responsible for any increase in room rate for the substitute room. Hotel shall also provide for and cover the cost of transportation to the alternate hotel.
Walk Policy. River Spirit Casino Resort will make every effort to guarantee that no attendees guaranteed under the group block will be relocated to another hotel. River Spirit Casino Resort will immediately notify Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants if, at any time after the effective date of this agreement, a reasonable potential exists for River Spirit Casino Resort to become oversold during the Event dates and as a result, one or more attendees with guaranteed reservations may be relocated to another hotel. River Spirit Casino Resort agrees that if a guaranteed room is not available on the arrival date for any group attendee over the event dates, for any reason caused by River Spirit Casino Resort, River Spirit Casino Resort will provide to the attendee a comparable room in another hotel and will pay for the first night’s lodging and one (1) round trip to and from the other location. When a room does become available in River Spirit Casino Resort’s facility, River Spirit Casino Resort will accommodate the guest for the remainder of stay at the rate initially reserved.
Walk Policy. For any Participant who is displaced by the Hotel because of unavailability, Hotel will provided all such “walked” Participants with a free room at a comparable hotel for the length of stay, free transportation to and from the Hotel, a long distance phone call and letter of apology to the displaced person. All such displaced participants and their associated room nights will count towards University’s room night block commitment.
