Common use of Voluntariness Clause in Contracts

Voluntariness. The Executive agrees that he or she is relying solely upon his or her own judgment; that the Executive is over 18 years of age and is legally competent to sign this Agreement; that the Executive is signing this Agreement of his or her own free will; that the Executive has read and understood the Agreement before signing it; and that the Executive is signing this Agreement in exchange for consideration that he or she believes is satisfactory and adequate.
