Common use of Voluntariness and Consequences of Consent Denial or Withdrawal Clause in Contracts

Voluntariness and Consequences of Consent Denial or Withdrawal. The Employee’s participation in the Plan and the Employee’s grant of consent hereunder is purely voluntary. The Employee may deny or withdraw his or her consent at any time. If the Employee does not consent, or if the Employee later withdraws his or her consent, the Employee may be unable to participate in the Plan. This would not affect the Employee’s existing employment or salary; instead, the Employee merely may forfeit the opportunities associated with participation in the Plan.
