Common use of Voltage Regulators Clause in Contracts

Voltage Regulators. Whenever the Generating Facility is operated in parallel with the Transmission or Distribution System as applicable and voltage regulators are capable of operation, Interconnection Customer shall operate the Generating Facility with its speed governors and voltage regulators in automatic operation. If the Generating Facility’s voltage regulators are not capable of such automatic operation, Interconnection Customer shall immediately notify Transmission Provider’s system operator, or its designated representative, and ensure that such Generating Facility’s reactive power production or absorption (measured in MVARs) are within the design capability of the Generating Facility’s generating unit(s) and steady state stability limits. Interconnection Customer shall not cause its Generating Facility to disconnect automatically or instantaneously from the Transmission or Distribution System, as applicable, or trip any generating unit
