Viewshed. This Amended Agreement establishes procedures for the protection of viewsheds.
Viewshed. For purposes of this Agreement, considering the management responsibilities of each Partner, the viewshed will be defined as lands and infrastructure within one mile of the AT.
Viewshed. An open view from a lower elevation of the natural topography, features and vegetation of the hillsides, hilltop edge and hilltop undisturbed by man-made structures (except for vegetated screening and/or vegetated earthen berms only within the hilltop), uses or activities except as permitted in this chapter.
Viewshed. Total visible area from a single observer position or the total visible area from multiple observer positions. Viewsheds are accumulated seen areas from highways, trails, campgrounds, towns, cities, or other view locations. Examples are corridors, feature or basin viewsheds. The land next to streams and lakes where vegetation plays a major role in sustaining the long-term integrity of aquatic ecosystems (▇▇▇▇▇ 1970, ▇▇▇▇ 1971). Includes the geomorphic floodplain, riparian ecosystem, and inner gorge. Property right granted by the State of Colorado to divert or store a specified quantity of water for a defined beneficial use.
Viewshed. An area of particularly significant visual value as defined in the Gunnison County Land Use Resolution.
