VFR Flights Sample Clauses
The 'VFR Flights' clause defines the rules and conditions under which flights may be conducted under Visual Flight Rules (VFR), as opposed to Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). This clause typically outlines requirements such as minimum visibility, cloud clearance, and weather conditions that must be met for a flight to operate under VFR. For example, it may specify that pilots must maintain visual reference to the ground and avoid flying in poor weather or at night unless additional criteria are met. The core function of this clause is to ensure flight safety by setting clear operational boundaries for VFR flights, thereby reducing the risk of accidents due to inadequate visibility or adverse weather.
