Version Selection Sample Clauses
The Version Selection clause defines which version of a document, agreement, or set of terms will govern the relationship between the parties. Typically, this clause specifies whether the most recent version, a particular dated version, or a version referenced at the time of signing will apply. For example, in software licenses or service agreements, it clarifies if updates to terms automatically bind the parties or if only the original terms apply. Its core function is to prevent disputes over which set of terms is enforceable, ensuring both parties have a clear understanding of their rights and obligations.
