Common use of VARIATIONS TO BE TABLED IN PARLIAMENT Clause in Contracts

VARIATIONS TO BE TABLED IN PARLIAMENT. Where in the opinion of the Minister an agreement made under Section 28.01 constitutes a material or substantial alteration of the rights or obligations of either party hereto, the agreement will contain a declaration to that effect and the Minister will cause the agreement to be laid before each House of the Parliament of the said State for the twelve (12) sitting days of that House next following the execution of the Agreement. If within that time neither House passes a resolution disallowing the same, the agreement shall have effect as and from the last day on which the agreement might have been disallowed.
