Common use of Variable Load Capacity Clause in Contracts

Variable Load Capacity. (a) In the event that the actual Variable Load Capacity of the DRILLSHIP is more than 500 metric tons below the Guaranteed Variable Deck Load Capacity of the DRILLSHIP, then the Contract Price shall be reduced by Four thousand United States Dollars (US$ 4,000) per each metric ton of the shortfall below 19,500 metric tons.
