Variable Amount Clause Samples
Variable Amount. For purposes of this Agreement, the parties agree that the "Variable Amount" shall be an amount which begins with a zero dollar value ($0.00) and which is increased by eight hundred thirty- three dollars and thirty-three cents ($833.33) at the end of each calendar month during: (a) the thirty-six (36) month period beginning on the Effective Date of this Agreement; or, if earlier, (b) the period beginning on the Effective Date hereof and ending on the date a payout of the Variable Amount is required under the terms of this Agreement, as then further increased by that amount which would have been earned as interest on the foregoing monthly amounts if each said monthly amount had been invested, from the date of its being credited as part of the Variable Amount until the date of its payment to the Executive (or the Executive's designated beneficiary, or the Executive's estate if no designated beneficiary has been selected, upon the Executive's death), in an account bearing interest at a monthly rate equal to the rate payable on three month United States Treasury Bills (measured as of the first day of each month after said amount is credited).
