Vacation Slots. Should read – For the purpose of establishing vacation slots, vacation time off will include vacation as per article 55 and Stat Bank of 132 hours as per article 18.01 for each employee and as set out in the vacation scheduling XXX #20 Date: I, (Employee Name) WSIB Claim Number (if applicable) Request a one-time advance while I await receipt of, or adjudication of, a claim for wage loss replacement from either the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board or the Company’s Insurer. I confirm that I have followed the conditions laid out in ARTICLE 47. I understand and agree that I will receive salary continuance to be paid at the current Short Term Sick Benefit rate and shall not exceed a total of six (6) weeks. In extraordinary circumstances the Company may consider additional pay advance. In consideration of this, I understand and agree that all monies advanced by Ornge, shall be repaid in full to the Company, upon my receipt of wage loss payment from the WSIB or the Company’s insurer or upon my return to work, through wage garnishment, whichever occurs first. Vacation Slots. 1 A. Effective January 1, 2023, and with the proceeding annual bidding process for 2 2023, the number of vacation slots available for Juvenile Detention Officers shall be based on a ratio 3 of one (1) slot per ten (10) full-time budgeted positions (rounded up or down to the nearest 10 4 positions) as of January 1. For example, 99 budgeted positions shall result in 10 vacation slots. A 5 drop to 95 budgeted positions shall maintain 10 vacation slots (rounded up). A drop to 94 budgeted 6 positions shall cause a reduction to 9 vacation slots. The allotment of lost vacation slots shall be 7 apportioned first to those shifts that would result in the smallest reduction to per employee vacation 8 availability based on employee to leave slot ratio.
Vacation Slots. A. The following number of employees shall normally be allowed Vacation from each Rotating Group and Special Shift: Rotating Group - Non-Holiday 14% Rotating Group - Holiday 17% Special Day Shift 14% Special Night Shift 14% Construction - Days 14% Construction - Evenings 14% Cadre 14% The calculation to determine the number of employees allowed Vacation shall be based on always rounding up when the sum is not a whole percentage (%) number. These Vacation Slots shall be calculated based on personnel numbers each February 1st.

  • Vacation; Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to not less than four (4) weeks of vacation during each calendar year and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies and practices with respect to its executives.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:

  • Vacation and Sick Leave At such reasonable times as the Board of Directors shall in its discretion permit, the Employee shall be entitled, without loss of pay, to absent himself voluntarily from the performance of his employment under this Agreement, with all such voluntary absences to count as vacation time; provided that:

  • Vacation Buy Back Employees shall have the option of requesting pay in lieu of time off up to a maximum of 144 hours of vacation time each year, during each year of the contract in increments of eight (8) hrs. Such requests are subject to the approval of the department head and the availability of funds.

  • VACATIONS 13.01 All employees who are regularly scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis shall receive vacations with pay based on length of full-time continuous service as follows:

  • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to fifteen (15) paid vacation days per calendar year (prorated for partial years) in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time that is at least as favorable as that provided to other similarly situated executives of the Company. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave During the Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation, paid holidays and sick leave in accordance with the Company's standard policies for its senior executive officers.

  • Vacations; Leave The Employee shall be entitled to annual paid vacation in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors for executive employees and to voluntary leave of absence, with or without pay, from time to time at such times and upon such conditions as the Board of Directors may determine in its discretion.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.
