Common use of Use of Small, Minority Owned and Women's Businesses Clause in Contracts

Use of Small, Minority Owned and Women's Businesses. (Applicable to that portion of an agreement that is federally funded and entered into with institutions of higher education, hospitals, nonprofit organizations or commercial businesses.) Positive efforts shall be made to use small businesses, minority-owned firms and women's business enterprise, whenever possible (i.e., procurement of goods and/or services). Subcontractors shall take all of the following steps to further this goal.
