Untrusted software Sample Clauses

The "Untrusted software" clause defines the restrictions and responsibilities related to the use of software that has not been verified or approved by the parties involved. Typically, this clause prohibits the installation, execution, or integration of such software within a system or network, especially when it could introduce security vulnerabilities or operational risks. By clearly outlining what constitutes untrusted software and the consequences of its use, the clause helps protect the integrity and security of the parties' systems, mitigating the risk of malware, data breaches, or other cyber threats.
Untrusted software or data shall be scanned for viruses before use on a Party’s corporate facilities that can be accessed through the direct connection or dial up access to OSS interfaces.
