Common use of Unsecured PHI Clause in Contracts

Unsecured PHI. “Unsecured PHI” shall have the same meaning as the term “unsecured protected health information” as set forth at 45 CFR Section 164.402, except limited to the information received from Covered Entity or created, received, maintained, or transmitted by Business Associate on behalf of Covered Entity.

Unsecured PHI. “Unsecured PHI” shall have the same meaning as the term “unsecured protected health information” as set forth at in 45 CFR Section C.F.R. § 164.402, except limited to PHI of the information received from Covered Entity or Plan created, used, transmitted, disclosed, received, maintained, or transmitted maintained by Business Associate on behalf of Covered Entityor its Agents or Subcontractors.
