Common use of Unknown Facts Clause in Contracts

Unknown Facts. Claimant expressly understands and agrees that this Release is intended to and does cover any and all losses, injuries, damages and claims of every kind and nature whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, known or unknown, and suspected or unsuspected. Claimant acknowledge that Claimant may hereafter discover facts different from, or in addition to, those which they now know to be, or believe to be, true with respect to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s alleged injuries, losses and claims. Claimant acknowledges that Claimant may learn of additional facts as they relate to DCOCs and the Released Persons’ activities as they relate to DCOCs. Claimant agrees that this Release, and the specific releases contained herein, shall be and remain effective in all respects, notwithstanding such different or additional facts and the subsequent discovery thereof.
