UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. The parties agree that in matters of medical and dental plan benefits, plan premiums, and sharing of plan costs between employer and Employee, it is beneficial to both parties to achieve language that is universal in all City bargaining unit agreements. If during the term of this agreement, the Employer enters into an agreement with another City bargaining unit that affects such language, the parties agree to meet and negotiate contract changes to achieve universal language, if possible.

42.1. This Agreement shall be effective as of the 1st day of January 2025, and shall remain in full force and effect through the 3 pt day of December, 2027, and from year to year thereafter as provided by PELRA.
