Unit Operators Clause Samples
The Unit Operators clause designates a specific party or entity responsible for managing and operating a jointly owned unit, such as an oil and gas field or other shared resource. This clause typically outlines the powers, duties, and limitations of the unit operator, including authority to make operational decisions, manage expenditures, and report to the other co-owners. By clearly assigning operational control and delineating responsibilities, the clause ensures efficient management of the unit and helps prevent disputes among co-owners regarding day-to-day operations.
