UNION SECURITY ARTICLE Sample Clauses

The Union Security Article is a contractual provision that outlines the obligations of employees and the employer regarding union membership and dues. Typically, it requires employees to either join the union or pay union dues as a condition of employment, and mandates that the employer deduct these dues from employees' wages and remit them to the union. This clause ensures consistent union funding and membership, thereby strengthening the union's bargaining power and simplifying dues collection for both the union and the employer.
