Uniforms and Uniform Items. A) The Employer shall provide the following uniform items: 1 1 1 Gun holster and magazine holders will be replaced at the discretion of the Police Chief. ** The number of cuff cases provided depends on whether the Member elects to carry their second set of cuffs in a case of the external soft body armor carrier. B) Items deemed damaged or worn out by the Member’s supervisor shall be promptly replaced upon presentation by the Member of the equipment or clothing to Chief of Police or his or her designee. C) Upon assignment to a unit where the detective uniform is authorized, and every year thereafter, the Member will be issued three detective uniforms in lieu of the Class B uniform issued to officers.
