Uniform Network Code Clause Samples

The Uniform Network Code (UNC) is a standardized set of rules and procedures governing the operation, use, and management of the gas transportation system in the UK. It sets out the rights and obligations of all parties involved in the gas market, including shippers, suppliers, and transporters, covering areas such as gas balancing, nominations, and settlement processes. By providing a consistent regulatory framework, the UNC ensures efficient, transparent, and fair operation of the gas network, reducing disputes and promoting market stability.
