Common use of Uniform Codes Clause in Contracts

Uniform Codes. This Agreement does not prevent the City from adopting and amending in compliance with State law certain uniform codes or uniform standards which are based on recommendations of a multi-state professional organization and which become applicable throughout the City -- including the Project and the Property subject to this Agreement. Such Uniform Codes include, but are not limited to, the Uniform Building Code, Uniform Mechanical Code, National Electrical Code, Uniform Fire Code, and uniform standards for the construction of public works.
