Common use of Unclaimed Moneys Clause in Contracts

Unclaimed Moneys. Anything contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, any moneys held by the Fiscal Agent in trust for the payment and discharge of the principal of, and the interest and any premium on, the Bonds which remains unclaimed for two (2) years after the date when the payments of such principal, interest and premium have become payable, if such moneys was held by the Fiscal Agent at such date, shall be repaid by the Fiscal Agent to the City as its absolute property free from any trust, and the Fiscal Agent shall thereupon be released and discharged with respect thereto and the Bond Owners shall look only to the City for the payment of the principal of, and interest and any premium on, such Bonds.
