Unclaimed Amounts Payable. If the TPA cannot ascertain the whereabouts of any person to whom an amount is payable under the Plan, and if, after 5 years from the date such payment is due, a notice of such payment due is mailed to the address of such person, as last shown on the records of the Plan, and within 3 months after such mailing such person has not filed with the TPA or Plan Administrator written claim therefor, the Plan Administrator may direct in accordance with ERISA that the payment (including the amount allocable to the Member's contributions) be cancelled, and used in abatement of the Plan's administrative expenses, provided that appropriate provision is made for re-crediting the payment if such person subsequently makes a claim therefor.
