Unbundled Loop Sample Clauses

The Unbundled Loop clause defines the terms under which a telecommunications provider must offer access to the physical wire connection between a customer's premises and the central office, separate from other network elements. In practice, this means that competitors can lease just the local loop infrastructure without having to purchase additional services or equipment, enabling them to provide their own voice or data services directly to end users. This clause is essential for promoting competition in the telecommunications market by ensuring that new entrants can access critical infrastructure without duplicating existing networks.
Unbundled Loop. 3.1 Unbundled Loops are available pursuant to CLEC’s Agreement and the following terms and conditions.
Unbundled Loop. If as a result of those discussions, a process is developed for Loop Splitting over a new Loop, CenturyLink will amend its Agreement to eliminate the limitation of Loop Splitting to existing Unbundled Loops.
Unbundled Loop. If as a result of those discussions, a process is developed for Loop Splitting over a new Loop, Qwest will amend its Agreement to eliminate the limitation of Loop Splitting to existing Unbundled Loops.
Unbundled Loop. If as a result of those discussions, a process is developed for Loop Splitting over a new Loop, Qwest will negotiate an amendment to this Agreement at CLEC’s request to eliminate the limitation of Loop Splitting to existing Unbundled Loops. Requests for other Loop Splitting applications must be submitted through the Special Request Process (SRP).
Unbundled Loop. For any inquiries, repairs or disputes relating to or arising from this report or lines missing from this report, Qwest shall not require CLEC to provide any Customer-identifying or order-identifying information, to Qwest that is not detailed in the report and is not required by OBF guidelines. • Unbundled Sub-Loop Feeder 2.8.4.1 Unbundled Sub-Loop Feeder (USLF) provides connectivity between BellSouth's central office and cross-box (or other access point) that serves an end user location. 2.8.4.2 USLF utilized for voice traffic can be configured as 2-wire voice (USLF-2W/V) or 4-wire voice (USLF-4W/V). 2.8.4.3 USLF utilized for digital traffic can be configured as 2-wire ISDN (USLF-2W/I); 2-wire Copper (USLF-2W/C); 4-wire Copper (USLF-4W/C); 4-wire DS0 level loop (USLF-4W/D0); or 4-wire DS1 and ISDN (USLF-4W/DI). 2.8.4.4 USLF will provide access to both the equipment and the features in the BellSouth central office and BellSouth cross box necessary to provide a 2W or 4W communications pathway from the BellSouth central office to the BellSouth cross- box. This element will allow for the connection of Global Connection’s loop distribution elements onto BellSouth's feeder system.

  • Unbundled Voice Loop SL2 (UVL-SL2) loops may be 2-wire or 4-wire circuits, shall have remote access test points, and will be designed with a DLR provided to NuVox. SL2 circuits can be provisioned with loop start, ground start or reverse battery signaling. OC is provided as a standard feature on SL2 loops. The OC feature will allow NuVox to coordinate the installation of the loop with the disconnect of an existing customer‟s service and/or number portability service. In these cases, AT&T will perform the order conversion with standard order coordination at AT&T‟s discretion during normal work hours.
