Unauthorized Firearms & Explosives Clause Samples
The Unauthorized Firearms & Explosives clause prohibits individuals from possessing, using, or bringing firearms, explosives, or similar dangerous items onto specified premises or within the scope of an agreement. Typically, this clause applies to employees, contractors, or visitors in workplaces, event venues, or leased properties, and may outline exceptions for law enforcement or security personnel. Its core function is to enhance safety and security by reducing the risk of accidents, violence, or legal liability associated with unauthorized weapons or hazardous materials.
Unauthorized Firearms & Explosives. No person conducting business on City property is to carry a firearm or explosive of any type. All Offerors, Contractors and subcontractors shall honor this requirement at all times and failure to honor this requirement shall result in Contract termination and additional penalties. This requirement also applies to any and all persons, including those who maintain a concealed weapon’s permit. In addition to Contract termination, anyone carrying a firearm or explosive device will be subject to further legal action.
