Common use of Umbrella Coverage Clause in Contracts

Umbrella Coverage. The insurance coverages and amounts set forth in subsections (b), (c), (d) and (e) of this Section may be met by an umbrella liability policy following the form of the underlying primary coverage in a minimum amount of $5,000,000. Should an umbrella liability insurance coverage policy be used, such coverage shall be accompanied by a certificate of endorsement stating that it applies to the specific policy numbers indicated for the insurance providing the coverages required by subsections (b), (c), (d) and (e), and it is further agreed that such statement shall be made a part of the certificate of insurance furnished by Grantee to the City.
