Transport Drivers. 2.7.1 Employees - Rates of Pay It is further agreed that any Transport Worker carrying out work relating to the Project will be paid, in addition to his/her Award or Enterprise Agreement rate of remuneration, any applicable Project Site Allowance, provided that the driver has had a regular involvement of two (2) hours or more on any day with the project.

Except as set out under the heading, "Guaranteed Pay" in Schedule this shall not be construed as a guarantee of either hours of work or pay thereof. Transport Drivers. Article SEVERANCEPAY: In the event of the permanent closure of the plant, permanent full-time employees whose employment is terminated will be paid severance pay of (25) hours at the employee's current rate of pay for each full completed year of continuous service with the Company, commencing with the second (2nd) year. Employees with five (5) or more years of continuous service will receive one weeks pay per year of service. No severance pay will be paid to employees who are offered a transfer to other employment that may be provided by the Company within the radius of fifty (50) miles. In the event of government regulations being introduced to provide that an employer shall pay severance pay to employees, a terminating employee will be paid severance pay either in scale above, whichever is the greater amount.

Over the life of this Agreement management will consider any proposal for a driver career path which would represent a win-win to both employees and management. It is agreed between the parties that 7 days will be the notice required to be given to Transport Drivers for weekend overtime and public holiday rostering.
