Common use of Transition and Implementation Clause in Contracts

Transition and Implementation. The Parties acknowledge that there may be certain instances in which existing arrangements between the Parties are not in accordance with the requirements of this agreement. Existing interconnection arrangements that are not in compliance with the requirements of this agreement shall not fall under the scope of this agreement until they are brought into compliance with the requirements of this agreement. The Parties agree to use their best efforts to bring all interconnection arrangements into compliance with the terms and conditions of this agreement within six (6) months of the effective date of this agreement. At the end of the six (6) months, such interconnection arrangements not in compliance with the requirements of this agreement, will be subject to the rates, terms, and conditions of the applicable GTE tariff for the services provided, including, but not limited to, DID service and number groups.
