Transfer Pathways. Outside of the general education block, participating New Hampshire Transfer Guarantee four-year institutions may receive major requirements and other electives at their discretion, while guaranteeing a minimum of associate degree transferable credits and advanced class standing. Existing articulation agreements will be honored under this agreement. To maximize clarity for prospective students, existing programmatic (major) articulation agreements and/or guaranteed admission programs between New Hampshire community colleges and receiving institutions that have signed MOAs to participate in the New Hampshire Guarantee will be referred to under the broader umbrella of the New HampshireTransfer Guarantee. This necessitates marketing the New Hampshire Guarantee rather than continuing to market individual articulation agreements that have been absorbed under this larger community college transfer heading. If an institution is considering signing an MOA but is anticipating challenges related to honoring existing agreements or programs (e.g., if they have an articulation agreement for a program that must remain distinct due to narrow admissions parameters such a student age or due to its ties to a specific funding stream), they should reach out to NEBHE facilitators for technical support. If an institution does not have any extant articulated pathways, they are encouraged to develop mapped pathways in order to streamline the transfer process.
