TRANSFE RABILITY Clause Samples
The TRANSFERABILITY clause defines whether and how rights or obligations under an agreement can be assigned or transferred to another party. Typically, this clause specifies if prior written consent is required before a party can transfer its interests, or it may outline exceptions where transfer is automatically permitted, such as in the case of a merger or sale of business assets. Its core function is to provide clarity and control over who may become a party to the agreement, thereby protecting the interests of the original parties and preventing unwanted or unapproved assignments.
