Common use of Transactions with Related Persons Clause in Contracts

Transactions with Related Persons. In carrying out its obligations and duties under this Agreement, the Servicer may contract with its affiliates on condition that all Persons with whom the Servicer may contract, enter into arrangements with, or otherwise deal with, shall be engaged on a commercially reasonable, arm’s-length basis and at competitive rates of compensation. Nothing contained in this Agreement will prevent the Servicer or its affiliates from engaging in other business or from acting in a similar capacity for any other Person even though such Person may engage in business activities similar to those of the Owner or its affiliates.
