Common use of Trademarks, Franchises, and Licenses Clause in Contracts

Trademarks, Franchises, and Licenses. The Business owns, possesses, or has the right to use all necessary patents, licenses, franchises, trademarks, trade names, trade styles, copyrights, trade secrets, know how and confidential commercial and proprietary information to conduct its businesses as now conducted, without known conflict with any patent, license, franchise, trademark, trade name, trade style, copyright or other proprietary right of any other Person. As used in this Master Contract, “Person” means an individual, partnership, corporation, association, trust, unincorporated organization or any other entity or organization, including a government or agency or political subdivision thereof.
