Trace. 6.1 Definition - A form of electronic identification of calling numbers, where, upon consent from the CLEC Customer (via CLEC) or court order, law enforcement officials request a record of calling numbers to the premises of the CLEC Customer. 6.2 Central Office Features - Call Trace is an advanced custom calling feature that provides CLEC direct line Customers the ability to activate the feature by dialing a designated code. This will automatically trace the telephone number of the line used for the last call received by the Customer. The traced number will not be provided to the Customer but will be provided to law enforcement officials.
