Total Control Herbicides. An annual treatment of all paved surfaces, fences, buildings, signs and navigational infrastructure with Total Control Herbicides must be completed across the airport property in September of each year. In general a 1m perimeter around all infrastructures must be treated, except for landside road reserves which require a 25cm application alongside the paving and runway / taxiway edges which require a 1m (of which 30cm is on the paved surface). The glide path reflector pad (gravel area) on either end of Runway 01/19 must be treated in its entirety.
