By October I, 20 IS, and by the same datc annually thcreafter, the Law School will provide a Title IX training program for new slaffwho interact with students on a regular basis that addresses thc training information covered above. This training shall be provided to all such ncw staff within 90 days of being hired for any such position. Reporting Requirement I. The training will also cover Title IX’s prohibition against retaliation and will specifically reference the University’s OCR approved Title IX procedures. The above training will be provided to the following groups, and may be differentiated to their specific roles and responsibilities under Title IX: (1) Title IX Coordinators and investigators, University police, Student Conduct Hearing Board Members, and other staff directly involved in processing, investigating, adjudicating and/or resolving Title IX complaints; (2) all other staff responsible for recognizing and reporting incidents of sex discrimination (including discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assaultand violence, including but not limited to resident assistants, faculty, administrators, counselors, general counsel, athletic personnel, health personnel, and sexual violenceany other responsible employees; (3) University students; and staff who will be (4) University athletes. The training v,111provide attendees will also cover the right of a victim to simultaneously pursue a criminal complaint with essential guidance law enforcement and instruction on recognizinga complaint with the University regarding the same incident. Further, appropriately addressing and reporting allegations and complaints the training will cover the importance of sex discrimination, including the differenccs betwccn accountability for individuals found to have engaged in sex discrimination, sexual harassment, or sexual assaultviolence; but will also emphasize the need for remedies for the complainant, and sexual violenceothers, the University's responsibilities undcr Title IX as necessary, to address allegations the discrimination or harassment, when it is found to have occurred. The University shall continue to offer mandatory training for all new University students and to offer a variety of sexually inappropriate behaviors, including the availability of interim steps and confidentiality. In addition, the voluntary training will cover the New Law Sehool Proccdures, and/or, as applicable, the Interim Policy and Procedures, and information about the Title IX Coordinator and resources available to survivors and complaimmts.
C. I. Requirement 1: By June 30, 20152017, the University will submit to OCR for review and approval information regarding the training program specific to each of the above groups, including documentation of any materials to be used, the names and title(s) of any trainers. Reporting Requirement 2: By June 30, 2018, and by the same date annually thereafterin 2019, the Law School and the University will provide documentation to OCR dcmonstrating demonstrating that it has provided the training was provided in accordance with Section IV referenced above. The documentation will include, at a minimum, the date(s) of the training; the name(s) and eredentials title(s) of the trainer(s); identification of who was required/invited to attended the date(s) session and time(s) ofthe training(s)for training for University staff, a corresponding sign-in sheet with the names and titles of the individuals who attended the training; the type of audience and estimated number of attendees; and copies of any training materials distributedas well as participation data.

The Law School District will continuc to provide regular in-person or online arrange for training to be administered to the District’s Title IX Coordinator(s) and all staff responsible other District employees who will be directly involved in processing, investigating, or resolving complaints of sex-based discrimination, or who will otherwise assist in the coordination of the District’s compliance with Title IX, including the School’s administrators, and address, at a minimum, the following topics: • The District’s new policies and grievance procedures for recognizing Title IX complaints; • The definition of sex-based discrimination; • The District’s responsibilities under Title IX to address sex-based harassment, regardless of whether the actions are potentially criminal in nature or reported to law enforcement; • Recognizing and reporting incidents appropriately responding to allegations and complaints, pursuant to Title IX; • Employees’ responsibility to respect the privacy of sex the complainant, respondent, and witnesses; • Conducting and documenting prompt, equitable, reliable, and impartial Title IX investigations, including the appropriate legal standards to apply in a Title IX investigation and how the standard differs from that of a criminal investigation; • Coordinating and cooperating with municipal law enforcement during concurrent criminal and Title IX proceedings; • That the District does not tolerate sex-based discrimination (including ,sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual violence) and staff who will be involved in processing, investigating, resolving and/or reviewing complaints of sex discrimination or who will otherwise coordinate the Law School's compliance with Title IX. The District will promptly consider and respond to OCR’s feedback with respect to the draft training materials and intended trainer(s), until OCR notifies the District, in writing, that the training materials and trainer(s) meet the requirement of Item 4 of the Agreement and are consistent with Title IX to address allegations statutory and regulatory requirements. Within 30 calendar days of sexually inappropriate behaviors, including the availability completion of interim steps and confidentiality.
