TIMETABLE FOR BARGAINING. Negotiations will be conducted through meetings of the negotiators selected by the Board and the negotiators selected by the Association. Negotiations shall begin within thirty (30) days of the request of either party provided, however, that such request shall be made no sooner than March 1 of the year in which the contract expires.
TIMETABLE FOR BARGAINING. 1. Negotiations shall be commenced no sooner than ninety (90) teacher working days prior to expiration of the current Agreement. The parties shall exert reasonable effort to complete negotiations for a Successor Agreement prior to expiration of the current Agreement, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the parties.
2. Request for the start of negotiations shall be in writing -- from the Association President to the Superintendent.
3. The first negotiations meeting must be held at a mutually convenient time and place within ten (10) days after the receipt of a request, unless both parties agree to an extension of time. The specific items in form and detail proposed for negotiations shall be exchanged at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the first scheduled meeting.
