Timeout Clause Samples

A Timeout clause sets a specific period within which a party must perform a required action or respond to a request under the contract. If the party fails to act within this timeframe, certain consequences may follow, such as the loss of a right, the triggering of penalties, or the ability for the other party to take alternative action. This clause ensures that contractual processes move forward efficiently and prevents unnecessary delays by holding parties accountable to clear deadlines.
