Time Synchronization Clause Samples
The Time Synchronization clause establishes requirements for aligning the time settings of systems or devices involved in an agreement or technical environment. Typically, it mandates that all relevant equipment use a common time source, such as a network time protocol (NTP) server, to ensure that logs, transactions, and records are accurately timestamped and consistent across platforms. This clause is essential for maintaining data integrity, facilitating troubleshooting, and supporting compliance or audit processes by ensuring that all time-dependent activities are properly coordinated.
Time Synchronization. It is very challenging to synchronize the clocks between the video and the single- loop data sequences because of uncertainties with the data collection, compression, and transmission processes. The video signal from a WSDOT surveillance camera is transmitted to a control cabinet via coaxial cable and then sent to a communications hub via fiber optic cable. At the communications hub, it is combined with video signals from many other cameras through the Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) technique. The combined video signals are then transmitted to the WSDOT TSMC in Shoreline via glass fiber. At the TSMC, the received video signals are de-multiplexed and connected
Time Synchronization. The System will support synchronization to a master clock source(s) using Network Time Protocol (NTP) V3 as defined by IETF ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇. The Contractor shall provide a network master clock source for the System and any ports necessary to connect the master clock source to PSAP CAD systems.
Time Synchronization. The system clock accuracy also affects the accuracy of the resulting metrics. It is essential for IP SLA operations like one-way latency (delay) to have precise time synchronization. Some of the other operations, also round-trip and interarrival time, are less sensitive to clock variations.
Time Synchronization. Time synchronisation is only to be done if required by the Employer:
1. Where a time synchronization source signal is required, it shall be provided by the Employer at EOD. The cabling will be provided and installed by the Contractor
2. The Contractor shall ensure that all other equipment forming part of the Lift Control System and LMS are synchronized to the station GPS.
3. Time-stamping of all alarms and events shall occur at the source.
Time Synchronization. All agencies are to make efforts to keep their time referencing devices synchronized. Updates should occur once per week via the National Research Council in Ottawa at (▇▇▇) ▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇ or via NRC web site or via Kingston CACC.
