A Time Impact Analyses clause establishes the requirement and process for evaluating the effects of changes or delays on a project's schedule. Time Impact Analyses. 6.6.6.1 When the Contractor experiences a delay, the Contractor shall submit within fifteen (15) days after a delay occurs, or upon issuance of a Field Work Order or a Unilateral Change Order, a written Time Impact Analysis (TIA) in accordance with the Specifications to the Construction Manager with each cost estimate or cost proposal pursuant to Article 10 and with each request for adjustment of Contract Time. The cost estimate shall include any and all anticipated costs due to the delay, including direct actual extended General Conditions overhead where applicable. If the Contractor does not submit a TIA for a specific change order or delay within the specified time, the Contractor shall be deemed to have voluntarily irrevocably waived any rights to additional time and cost. The Contractor shall allow the Construction Manager two (2) weeks after receipt to approve or reject the submitted TIA. The Contractor shall not incorporate any part of the Time Impact Analysis into the Monthly Schedule Update until authorized in writing by the Construction Manager.
