Common use of Time Extension Clause in Contracts

Time Extension. 7.8.1 Every adjustment of the Contract Times associated with any change in the Work shall be determined as provided in this Section 7.8, which establishes the DB’s maximum entitlement for any change in the Work, including without limitation all adjustments for interference, delay, hindrance, or disruption of the Work. This Section 7.8 also governs time adjustments for deduct Change Orders and the DB’s entitlement to additional time through the Claims and dispute resolution processes on account of changes in the Work.
