Third Party Software/Open Source Clause Samples

The Third Party Software/Open Source clause defines the terms under which software components developed by external parties, including open source software, are incorporated into a product or service. It typically outlines the obligations of the parties regarding compliance with third-party licenses, disclosure of open source components, and any restrictions or requirements that may apply to their use or distribution. This clause ensures that all parties are aware of and adhere to the legal and licensing conditions associated with third-party and open source software, thereby reducing the risk of intellectual property infringement and ensuring proper license compliance.
