THE CONVENTION; OBLIGATIONS OF THE RNC; HOST COMMITTEE. Section 2.1 Convention to be Held in the Nashville Metropolitan Area. Metro agrees that, provided the RNC holds the Convention in the Nashville Metropolitan Area during the Convention Period, Metro will support the Convention as set forth herein. This Agreement will be binding on Metro only after its approval by the Metropolitan Council and upon the date it is recorded with the Metropolitan Clerk.
