Common use of The Conference Clause in Contracts

The Conference. 1. The Members of the Conference are the States parties to this Agreement. 2. The Conference may, by decision taken by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, permit other European States, as well as States which have made an important contribution to the work of EMBO from its foundation, to become Members by acceding to this Agreement after it has come into force. 3. The Conference may, by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, establish cooperation with non-Member States, national bodies or international governmental or non-governmental organisations. The conditions and terms of such cooperation shall be defined by the Conference, by unanimous vote of the Members present and voting, in each case according to the circumstances.
