Testing, Maintaining and Re. Assessing Business Continuity Plans. Supplier shall test and annually update business continuity plans to ensure that they are up to date and effective. The business continuity plan tests shall ensure that all members of the recovery team and other relevant staff are aware of the plans and their responsibility for business continuity and information security and know their role when a plan is invoked.
Testing, Maintaining and Re assessing Disaster Recovery plans: Disaster Recovery plans must be tested and updated regularly to ensure that they are up to date and effective. Following guidelines are to be followed.
5.5.1. The DRP should be tested at least annually for ensuring its smooth working during event of emergency. The observations during the test are to be recorded and reviewed. In case of any issues found, the Plan should be updated.
5.5.2. The plans should also be updated whenever there are changes in 5.5.2.1. Information system i.e. new hardware / software upgrade 5.5.2.2. Personnel 5.5.2.3. Address and Telephone numbers of the Personnel involved in the DRP 5.5.2.4. Location 5.5.2.5. Facilities & resources 5.5.2.6. Legislation 5.5.2.7. Contractors, Suppliers & Key Customers 5.5.2.8. Business processes 5.5.2.9. Risk (Operational and Financial)
