Test instruments. The instruments used to record loads applied and movements must conform to paragraph 3.3.3.2.1.3.

Test instruments. The instruments used to record loads applied and movements shall have the following degree of accuracy: (a) Loads applied ± 50 ▇▇▇, (b) Movements ± 0.01 mm. 3.3.3.2.1.4. Test procedure 3.3.3.2.1.4.1. The coupling device shall first be subjected to a pre-traction load which does not exceed 15 % of the traction test load defined in paragraph 3.3. 3.2.1.4.2. The operation described in paragraph 3.3. 3.2.1.4.1 shall be repeated at least twice, starting with a zero load, which is gradually increased until the value prescribed in paragraph 3.3.3.2.1.4.1 is reached, and then decreased to 500 ▇▇▇; the settling load shall be maintained for at least 60 seconds.

Test instruments a. The supplier shall supply, transport and install all the test instruments at site as per the list provided. Vendor shall be responsible for test data collection and removal of test instruments after test. b. Supplier is advised to keep sufficient Spare instruments for completion of testing as per agreed schedule. c. All test instruments shall meet the accuracy specified. d. All test instruments shall have valid calibration certificate from an accredited test lab. e. All calibration certificates shall be submitted to NTPC for verification. f. All data from RTDs shall be recorded through data logger at frequency suggested by NTPC. Final test data shall be provided in Excel form in Engg. Units. g. All test logs shall be provided to NTPC.

Test instruments. All necessary test instruments for the tests shall be arranged by the contractor if so required by the Engineer-in-charge.
