Common use of Termination of Account Clause in Contracts

Termination of Account. We may terminate your account at any time without prior notice to you or may require you to close your account and apply for a new account. We are not responsible for payment of any draft, transfer or item after your account is terminated; however, if we pay a draft, transfer or other item after termination, you agree to reimburse us for the amount of our payment as well as any applicable fees. You may terminate this Agreement by closing all your accounts. If your account is a dividend or interest-bearing account, any deposit or part of a deposit that we have returned or attempted to return to you upon termination of your account will no longer bear dividends or interest, as applicable.
